Where'd you go?
I'm not really in that big of a hurry. Just a wee anxious.

Hey, sorry it has taken a while to get back.

I've received a number of price quotes, so I have a general idea. The lowest i got was around $175, with most being between 200-250, taking eveything into consideration. I had a 4a longblock shipped from across the state and it was drop shipped for around $80. But you're pretty far T....

It will be a while til I even get close to pulling it out, so I will keep looking about. Finding the proper intake might be a bit of a challenge....

The engine runs strong as hell, the last owner had the car for many years, and he was an alignment tech and he took pretty good care it. Well, except for wrecking it several times. Found a pile of oil change stickers in the console. High miles. Compression is excellent, timing belt was just changed. If I keep it, I can't even say if I would rebuild it. Maybe gaskets and such, but it almost runs too good to rebuild. I don't know.

Uhhh, I must sleep. If I forgot anything, I'll post it later....

Sweet. So what would you be asking?

Proper intake? How mean you? You don't think it'd fit in the Terc? I'm sure rubber hoses and such aren't hard to relocate...

So $185 ballparkish.... Then.... __? for the rest. I know it'll probably be higher than I can afford, but its some consolation that you might not be pulling it for a while.

I don't know, let me think a bit about price. Plus, what else are you going to want besides the ecu and engine?

You will need to find a intake from a RWD 4AGE, as the one from this one will be almost kissing the firewall at the open end. I guess you could have someone cut it and reposition it....

I'll get back soon....
