We all know what a Tercel looks like, but here's some pics of a turbo-charged intercooled Tercel under the hood. If you don't see the pics, try right-click and "view image" or whatever YOUR browser says. I hope these pics are of help or at least inspiration to someone. I wish all our Tercels could be like mine, but unfortunately I bought mine the way it is, so I can't give much advice.
I didn't even want the turbo, I just wanted a second Tercel with as few kilometers as possible and as little rust as possible. This one had 100 000 kilometers less than all the others (230 000 kilometers to be exact), and is practically rust-free so I decided to take a chance on the turbo. If something goes wrong, the factory service manual won't be very useful, since just about everything has been modified for better performance, which I am some what worried about, but the car is so fast, I forget my worries when I'm driving.
If someone can get the pictures to show up without excessive clicking and whatnot, be my guest.
I'll post more pictures of my Tercels when I get a chance, but they're just a white '87 with an electric sunroof and a red 84 with no nothing. Nothing special about them on the outside except the big exhaust pipe on the white '87 turbo one.
