3A cracked block

Post by mcenter »

I pulled the motor from my 84 tercel. Had the head re-done, bought overhaul kit, and discovered my 3A block was cracked.

I either need to find a good block or have mine sleeved. I was wondering if sleeving these blocks is a good idea?

I'd recommend just getting a used one from a wrecker. They are so cheap, and it's not worth re-sleeving in my opinion.
