How do I remove the shift knob?

Hi all! Just purchased an 85 Tercel 4WD and am loving it. Glad I found this board as well. Anyways, I'm trying to replace the shift boot and I can't figure out how to remove the knob. Can anyone give me a hint?

I think it just unscrews.
