My mate Gus took a shot of this less than pristene RHD version while walking along a desolate beach on the north coast of Papua New Guinea (a place where they still find lost tribes and new species of flora and fauna). while on his way to West Papua to shoot a doco. My guess is ex mining vehical.

I think all the good Tercels in europe get exported to africa and maybe this is what happens to the ex australian/japanese ones.

The tropical humiditiy's definatly taken it's toll though! :)

That's the kind of rust seen near the ocean and with lots of rain?

Hows the underbody? I might drive it 10.9 mph? lol
The guy who is in town and drives a pile of rust shaped to resemble a Tercel sure likes 60+mph.

Buy this Tercel...

Post by terceldude »

A sadly neglected Terk.  You guys should buy this one, import it, have it towed to MAACO, have them fully restore it from the ground up, maybe a frame-off restoration, fully clean it, get it running smoothly again, wash the engine compartment, etc. This would make a nice car to drive around!!!!    :!: :!:
