hello fellow tercel nuts. I have three wagons. and i need a drivers side window elevator. Is there any one out there that can help me out. The Mailman

My tercel:: 87 tercel 4x4 wagon w/reringed engine, 83 tercel 4x4 wagon w/salvaged engine and 4.1 Diff's

in "repair guides" section check out "front door window mechanisim repair"
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

The gears are fine its the plastic bushing in the track that is gone. keeps popping out and window falling. The Mailman

if you find one with bad gears and good plastic bushings you can cut the arm off and weld it to yours. there are a lot of bad geared operators out there. i'm sure someone will donate one.
other than that you may have to improvise on the plastic parts. i assume your talking about the plastic rollers that slide in the tracks.

Yep that is it , everything else is good. I'm still searching for one before i go experimenting trying to fix this one. The Mailman

fixed, it was a bent arm and the bushing kept popping, bent back in place and good as new thanks Xirdneh. the mailman
