Anyway, we're being told it's the clutch but my Dad's not entirely convinced it's not the compressor itself that's dead. You can turn the AC on for a few seconds, it blows cold, then it makes on little squeek and (if left on we found out) the compressor or clutch will smoke. So I need a new clutch and/or compressor. We looked around a ton today and it seems that mine is one of the only Tercs around here (Eastern Canada) that has AC. It came from Winnipeg though, maybe Central/Western Canada ad US Tercels had it more often. We found 4WD heaven today, there were at least 8 Tercs at a junkyard, none had what I needed. We did find a Cressida that may have the same compressor, couldn't tell for sure.
Does ayone have any that they're willing to sell? I hope someone can help me, I don't dare call the Stealership for one, they wanted over $100 for a new 'Toyota' decal for my trunk last year...
