A new post.. T4WD Driver Of The Week. Stuff from the net and other random images. Feel free to contribute. I think we should give this guy an award.
This dude drove all the way to the top of America into the Artic circle in 1985 (summer) It seems there wasn't enough danger as the Tercel was making it to easy so he tied some jerry cans of petrol to the back to increase the danger factor (probably couldn't find any chevy corvairs around).
I've driven that road (as passenger) to the west down from Prince Rupert. Saw some lakes...many fir trees.......a large grizzly that we got out to say hi to...very big mother (not female) who you wouldn't want to upset. Seemed mostly curious.
That's a trip I had wanted to do at one time...had heard horror stories about car troubles...tires trashed....
Give a boy a gun-give a biatch a cell phone-and pretty soon you almost got yourself a police state.

That is a great find! I want to do that trip now too! I've been as far north as Watson Lake when I was a kid (in my parent's old 83 tercel wagon incedentally ) I'm going to talk to the wife about this. I think a person would need a good three weeks or more to enjoy a trip like this. I just checked mapquest; it tells me that this is a 2400mile journey one way from where I live! That would be nearly 5000miles return!
