well here are some pics comparing the 3ac ans 3asu exaust manis and cams

here are the cams, the one on the left is the 3asu, i didn´t see any difference

Very interesting! So, you couldn't tell a difference between the cams, or the exhaust manifolds? How about intake manifolds and head? Are they drastically different?

did the 3ASU have the dual side draft carbs on it? also what cars did the 3ASU come in?

the one i have has twin vcarbs, the two 3ascv have only one, the exaust one is a 421 type mani, now to the naked eye the cams are the same, ill try to put them on the lathe and see if there is any diference in the lift, duration i dont know how could i meassure it, also i checked the intake ports on both heads, and on the su engine the ports are a lot more squared shape than the stock one, tday i starte the port and polish part, once i get some money 3 or 5 angle job and shave the ell out of the head 10:1 i hope
