You could take your time and do a good job on this head/intake and then trade it out on your running car? Groooovy man....
I've lapped a valve in on a B&S lawnmower engine...but never tackled valves on a car....always farmed the job out...mostly due to wanting to have them check for cracks and get it resurfaced. Then you get into 3 angle valve jobs...etc.
