Blushingly, I admit to just noticing that the engine under cover is missing. I'm taking that it is vital only in keeping dirt and stuff away from the engine compartment; since my offroading is confined to occasionally missing the driveway, I presume this cover can be regarded as redundant?
If it is recommended, what have others used as a substitute - freestyle work with a rigid plastic sheet of some kind, or ?
Thanks,
Tom M.

The wonderful POS FSM (apparently) does not have a pix of this; could someone post a pix so I can save it to fabricate something this Summer? This does not seem like a practical item to ship - or did the sedans use it as well?
Thanks.

got a nasty phone call one morning at work . my wife was on her way to work with the kids (to daycare) when a stick bounced up into the engine area and got in between the belts and puleys , breaking both belts. i leave the shield on now.Gasoline Fumes wrote:Pretty much every car has some sort of splash shield. I don't know if the sedans use the same exact part or not, but there should be something there. I usually take them off and throw them away. So much easier to work on the car.ARCHINSTL wrote:...did the sedans use it as well?

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
