It's what I'm thinking about doing to mine in the not-too-distant future, i.e. once I get the air comressor, spraygun and shed to do it all in.
I did a bodyworks course through Adult Ed here in Tasmania not too long ago, which has given me the skills to fix all the little things in my car, the wife's car and a couple of mates cars.
Well worth the outlay

Yeah I got to do my wheels. I have 2 sets winter, summer so 8 tires. I forgot what I need to do it.
I have the paint code if you need it. I think it's in one of the photo's.
cheers
We just used paint stripper or oven cleaner or something, then I bought some polish by Meguiar's and shined 'em up. I'm going to try one of those Mother's Power Balls this summer, Chip Foose seems to like them, and it has to be better than using a rag like I've been doing. I'm going to wash/wax the sled today in fact, it's a balmy 5C here and sunny. If I do I'll throw a couple pics on here.
That's not true, Typrus. I saw the same wheels on a 1987 SR5 in some Dealer Sales Binder I got from McLellan's Automotive Literature. I know they were on the modern SR5's and a lot of the 1986-89 matching Tercel 4wd VE Sedans sold in Japan.
