Re: What is the most rare T4WD option/accessory?
In some lucky Tercels, the cup holders pulled out from the centre console. I have only seen them in automatics. I think it was in place of the small shelf that normally appears below the single din stereo, but I'm not sure about that. It's been a long time since I've seen one.

Wasn't available in '85- only on A/T equipped '87 and '88 tercel wagons. Not sure about '86's (never had one.) They mount just above the radio.
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable
85 SR5 Blue
88 SR5 White (the 'good' one)-not anymore-totaled
87 fwd silver wagon a/t
87 4wd dx Cream (a/t- not anymore- now m/t)

I was wondering what other forum members thought was the most rare part for the Tercel? Was there ever a brush guard offered? Does anyone have period correct aftermarket wheels on their wagon?
Pics are good too!
Brush Guard: YES! Various markets including USA in 1983, don't have much pics though.
Cruise Control (Auto Drive): USA market, February 1985
Automatic Transmission on SR5 models: JPN market only starting in October 1983
Automatic A/C: JPN market only starting in August 1982 also shortly offered for Low DLX model during the same month and year

Strange...my 85 has it. I think it became an option with the 2nd gen of the wagons. The 85-88s.

There was no 2nd gen of the wagons, just a 2nd period - AUG 84 to MAY 86 for most of the world except specific GEN destinations and AUG 84 to AUG 86 for USA/CND models. The Cruise Control (Auto Drive) came out first in Feb 85. I have a screenshot of proof of that if you wanna see?

Only was found in Automatic Transmission models but would be cool in a stick shift modelPetros wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2015 3:46 pm here is the cup holder. I got it out of a 2wd hatch back thinking I could make it work, not sure it will fit now becasue the 4wd tunnel is larger. Anyone that wants to try is welcome to it, $25 plus shipping.
The it mounts over the radio. Those are the radio side mounts on it.

Re: What is the most rare T4WD option/accessory?
When I converted my '87 4WD A/T wagon to M/T, I retained the cup holder. Does not interfere with the stick shift operation.
