Hello! New to the forum. I'm in need of a 5th gear assembly if anyone could help. I wish there were more tercels around but most are gone from salvage yards here in Tennessee. Thanks

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Do you have your transmission disassembled, and is it just 5th gear you need?

Yes. Trans is disassembled. The gear is in 3 pieces. Also the front spring clip, and plate r destroyed.

Ok, good stuff. Are you on facebook? That will probably be your best bet for finding the parts you need. There is a fb group for 4wd Tercels that is much more active than this forum is nowadays. Most of the regular posters from this forum also use that group, plus there are tons of other folks there too. Robert Walker is located in WA state and he has quite a collection of trans parts so he might be able to help you out. Luke Anthony is another one who has a good collection of parts but I don't know if he has as much transmission internals as Robert. Anyway, my suggestion is to join that group and make a post like you did here, Robert will likely see it and let you know if he has what you seek.
