Wtb vacuum advance
Hey everyone, I'm back looking for another 3 port vacuum advance, it's for a 1985 tercel hatchback. This one holds vacuum in just one port, unfortunately. I made a post a few years back, where I wasn't getting vacuum to the advance, it turned out to be a bad gas port on the intake manifold.

Re: Wtb vacuum advance
I was able to use a unit off Amazon or eBay for a 1983 Tercel. The vacuum ports are backward, but it functions perfectly on my 84 3-AC.

Same here re: Phatcat's response. I got one off of ebay. It was expensive but I'm glad to finally have a fully functioning one now.
It's important to note that if the distributor o-ring is leaking, it will cause the diaphragms in the vacuum advance unit to degrade over time. I think that's the main cause of them wearing out since the oil leaking from there runs down the dizzy and seeps into the advance unit.
