I got these from an old Forum member when I visited Peter back in 2013 or so
They're either for a front brake upgrade or converting the rears to disc?

They look like wheel spacers to me. I never looked into the brake upgrades because I'm fine with the stock brakes but those might be necessary for spacing the wheel out to clear the wider caliper. I used similar spacers before when a set of aftermarket wheels I bought caused the rear tires to rub on the springs a tiny bit.

Those are the front wheel spacers (as David said) needed when you complete the MR2 rotor and brake caliper upgrade.
