1983 SR5 Part out

Hey all, recently picked up this 1983 SR5. It's a bit too crusty to be roadworthy and the wiring harness is pretty badly damaged under the hood. Car has 168k.

Parts that are damaged and no good:
Windshield (I do have another used one available if anyone is interested
Driver side door panel
Passenger door handle
Hood release cablr
Gas tank is probably horribly rusted inside.

Is the top steering column cover there.. Happen to know if the head would be salvageable..

Would love to have that tranny setup if you were only closer..Is that a factory gauge cluster on top of the dash? Might be interested if it is..Thanks

Hey Carbine, I got your email as well.
What is wrong with your current cylinder head? The steering column top is there but it's grey in color.
I am currently on vacation but I will email you back in a day.

Gray is what I need..Or any color for that matter..Mine is gone completely..I had to remove it once and it was so brittle it practically crumbled into pieces..

I just had my head worked on..It was pretty warped..I had a Machine Shop mill it..But it had a pretty good bow on the topside too..My Machine guy thinks it will be OK..I am skeptical the Cam and Bearings will have a very extended life myself....But he is a well respected and experienced Machinist. So I am going to believe him for now..

What about the incline gauges on the dash? Yes keep in touch please..Thanks Bruce

I will carefully pull it off the car tomorrow. The top and bottom are in good shape. It is for a non-tilt column car, just as a heads up.

I am thinking the top side might be the same even if it has tilt.. The tilt lever only seems to be proprietary to the bottom half only..Maybe I am wrong though..

By a quick visual inspection, it appears they are the same. I have this one removed and will check with one of my tilt cars tomorrow.
