(applause)
Awesome shoot there.
At first the racer seemed to have no confidence in the beast.. REALLY took the corners slow. Improved as time went on though.

You really need to shine up at least that aluminum head hehe...
That exhaust is just funny.... What'd it do for power/throttle response?

Lol.. steelies...

I'd love to get some muck-racing shots for you guys... It just might be a while as my tires are summers and the steely-rim tires are dead. I'm going to buy something cheap but grippy for the steelies for the winter. I'll have to take my subs and such out, but I'm confident I could get some cool shots.

The exhaust didn't do much for low end, but you can feel it doing better up top. yea, I did 1.28s and when I started out, but finished with a 1.20, to compare the fastest rwd of the day was a celica 22R that ran a 1.19 ... So, not bad. Yea, I'll clean up the engine bay and get a new radiator, something bigger. oh, and the exhaust is getting 2.25" pipe and a muffler :)

but man, I revved the everloving crap out of my lil car, ever seen 50km/h in 1st? Well... I have ! :)

I once got her up to 6500RPM in 1st. I then got too scared and upshifted. Dunno how fast that was, but it was funny.

Hehe

it was SO much fun, I'll have more footage on the 18th of December, we've got another Gravel/Snow Auto-X coming up

Its here in Calgary and all you need is a helmet and a car :) So all you Canadians are welcome and can sleep on the couches if you need to sleep before heading home again :)

BTW: Here is a NEW VIDEO!!! http://redline.mobia.net/Tercel.4WD-In.Snow.wmv

Nice vid!! I wonder if the people coming around the corner got as much of a kick out of it as I did though..

Also that video seems to be a really good mix of quality/filesize/duration what'd you make it with?

People around here all drive like goofs in the snow, thats why the dude in the civic gave me the thumbs up and a honk and the minivan driver just sort of shrugged :)

That was Windows Movie Maker II with 768 kbps "video for lan" setting.
