BG 44K Engine Cleaner gasoline additive

Has anybody used bg-44k as an engine cleaner, in the gas tank? It's $20 a pop, is Chevron Techron, or something else, a better alternative?

Old 3A engine is approaching 245K miles, needs a cleaning!

Just use tranny fluid and fuel injector cleaner.

There are many thoughts and approches. My favorite is the Seafoam Treatment. Look it up in Repairs.
I hear BK 44k is MASSIVELY potent, just way to overpriced for what you can do with other stuff.
