1985 Toyota Tercel 4WD DLX with rack and JVC radio. These are the original 4X4s! This one has an extra low gear for 4WD mode for steep snowy inclines. It’s a good opportunity for you if you are mechanical minded and like to tinker. These are easy cars to work on. I’m sad about it because I really wanted to see her get running again Have taken it recently for evaluation at AAA in Rocklin, CA. It needs brakes done, tires & alignment, struts, rack n pinion, front sway bar bushings. Starts up with some stalling first minute or two then runs. There is a change in gear sound when clutch pedal is not depressed while in neutral. New installation in 2017 of CAT, brand new battery and terminals under AAA. No AC, but heater works fine. Passed smog a year or so ago. (Currently not registered.)
Uncertain how many owners it’s passed through. Minimal rust. I’m guessing it’s been a Pacific Northwest driven car mainly.
Whoever gets it will need to bring a trailer.
