Post your Tercel Vids in here! :)

I'll go first! :)

This was my old 85 with a busted piston (three cylinder action!) doing some lame stunting in a parking lot here. I've grown up a bit since then, but I though it'd be fun to dig it up from the archives :)

Oh, I forgot, alot of the videos on this site are either no longer hosted or just completely forgotten about... I would like to host any and all tercel videos that people might have. I've got a nice server to host from, so just let me know.

the hornbeam has been mirrored:

In efi2, is the HB running filterless and exhaustless? Sounds pretty good, sounds like you took off in 4WD EL -> 1st -> 2nd :D

Thanks for the mirror! Geocities isn't too generous with bandwidth.

We had the air cleaner installed while driving, but no exhaust system past the cut-off downpipe. Yeah, that's an EL-1-2 shift. :D

GasolineFumes' EFI video!!

Post by terceldude »

The EFI video was ill, Gasoline Fumes!!!! Tell me more of the parts you used for the EFI conversion. At one point the Tercel sounded like a motocross motorcycle, truck, then motocross motorcycle again. Maybe it even sounded like a rally car. Why does the EFI unit look like a modified carburetor? Also, what does that weird red button do besides starting the car, I guess? Also, what is the purpose of the electrical outlets in the air conditioner vents? I think its weird, as well. On the other hand, the Tercel sounded ill. Looks like it took off like a rocket. Can this be done to a 3A, 4A, and 4A-C engine? How about a 5A-F, maybe? You have the ill video.
Now, just have the car fully restored and have the engine cleaned and brought to top performance. Same thing with the DENSO/SUZUKI EFI unit. Also please get your engine a killer nitrous porting from http://www.flatlanderracing.com (adds 90-100 HP) and a nice polishing and have the crankshaft knife-edged and have a bore/stroke increase done and put a universal turbocharger on it with a sports intercooler and that thing will definitely blast off like a rocket!!!! 8) :D :) :o  :!:

It's throttle body injection, so it only has one injector and mounts just like a downdraft carb. The red button does nothing besides starting the car, the ignition switch was broken off and a big red button seemed more fun than just getting another ignition switch. The electrical outlets do nothing. :) The Suzuki EFI could be adapted to pretty much any gasoline engine.

About the restoration, nitrous, turbo, etc., I'll get right on it.
