Hey all,
Just a little over two months before the Tercel Meet & Greet, I’m finally making time for some repairs. I pulled the engine last week in prepping for some transmission (input shaft) bearing renewal. Bearing us supposed to arrive Wednesday, want to see it before pulling the transmission.
I started on the shock mount repair, doesn’t look too bad considering my parts car is pretty solid in the area. I just need to cut the body section out and get it mounted. Here are the first pics of my problem area.

Hey marlin,
Took it to the Tercel Midwest Meet and Greet a month ago and it did great! I'm going through the carb now, as it has never quite idled right and trying to adjust it never responded as I would expect. While my AAP diaphragm wasn't leaking, it was crusty and likely not reacting to vacuum at all. I've also come across a few tiny vacuum orifices that were entirely plugged. I'm hoping it will run better and adjust per the guidelines after cleaning and "kitting" it. I will start a new post with that update in a couple of weeks likely.
