I'm sure this is a longshot but I'm wondering if anyone in the Kitsap County area (Seattle area would work too) would have room for me to leave a parts car on their property.
I've already spent about $150 on parts from the yard and they'd sell me the whole thing for $200-300 but with a Tundra, two Tercels, a Motorcycle, and a big trailer, and two roommates cars I have absolutely nowhere to put it. I think it's probably against my lease anyway. And the yard won't let me buy it and leave it there...I have to take it home.
If anyone near me wouldn't mind having another Terc sitting around I'd really appreciate it. I'm sure we could figure out some work/parts trade for the storage fee.

forum member Xirdneh is in your area, he lives on rural acreage near Seabeck. he would need to get his wife's permission, but I know there are probably parts he would like off of it.
I'm not exactly sure how long it'd need to stay at the moment. My lease is up at the end of May and I've been house hunting pretty hard but nothing has been right yet. I'm hoping to get into my own place by the summer but I'd hate to have to re-sign a lease and still have nowhere for the car.
I also don't want to have to strip the car and store all of the parts just to move them all when I move.
Where are you located anyway?

That could work, but like I said...I'm unsure about the time-frame at the moment. What is "temporary" in your (and more importantly the other half's) eyes? Maybe I should send you a PM about this?

Temporary for me would be a few weeks. Once we get into months it becomes more difficult to convince the other half. I'm probably not the best candidate, but keep me in mind in a pinch. I also have a friend in West Seattle who has a large gravel lot in his back yard. I'm sure for a reasonable fee he would allow a stranger's vehicle (on my recommendation) to be stored back there for a few months.
Well thanks for being willing. I think I'm going to keep looking for something more long term at the moment...and closer.
I'm really looking forward to getting some land...I'm envisioning a Tercel only yard where anyone can park their parts cars and pull parts at their leisure.
