I am thinking the top side might be the same even if it has tilt.. The tilt lever only seems to be proprietary to the bottom half only..Maybe I am wrong though..

At one time I was going to try to attempt a VW Jetta Diesel swap.. But my stupid Brother took it to the junkyard..It was a great motor yet..Sad.

Gray is what I need..Or any color for that matter..Mine is gone completely..I had to remove it once and it was so brittle it practically crumbled into pieces..

I looked and I found two ports on top the compressor..One pointed forward at the front on top, one pointing rearward on the top..Which is it?
It worked fine for 3 years till last friday..It just starting running warmer and warmer over about a two Hour period it seems.. But now the clutch ...

This must be the most highly guarded secret in the world..Is the Low Pressure charging port on a 1986 on the Compressor itself? Searched for an hour and could not find the answer.. Thanks

Yes waterpump, cap and thermostat were some of the first things I tried..I used a quality pump and Stat..I do think anything was wrong with any of those though..
I am hopeful it is fixed..Will keep updated..

Is the top steering column cover there.. Happen to know if the head would be salvageable..
Would love to have that tranny setup if you were only closer..Is that a factory gauge cluster on top of the dash? Might be interested if it is..Thanks

Yes I repainted it after I bought it.It has some rust in the usual places along the bottom..But underside is reall solid yet, has near 200,000 miles on it now..Had around 150,000 when I bought it..Interior is decent for an older car.. I paid 325.00 for it at a Garage Yard sale,LOL
