The z52 info is what I need, as both my Terks are 83s.

By the way I tried to find the three allen head bolts mentioned on the passenger side. they do not exist on my tranny. I think I will still have to pull the trannys and swap.

Interesting idea. I think I'll try it before I go to all the trouble of removing the trannys. It would be great if it worked.
