The similar happened to me once when I jump started my dead battery Tercel with another vehicle. It was a really bumpy ride.

Then I threw another battery and the Tercel ran like champ. Funny how little things can make such a difference.

It is great if you have good wrecking yards around for older cars. Here in Finland wrecking yards have nearly nothing left from 1980's. Every car in wrecking yard is basically from 1990's or newer.

But enthusiasts have saved some parts for the future needs instead here.

Windshield glue should be the best alternative.

I don't like to have too many kinds of sealants in garage so I added some gasket sealant between plastic trim and metal corner. But this is not the 100% correct way of course. But it does the job.

You will swap a lot of parts to that car. Remember to swap timing belt too.

And no worries about the illustrator. I don't have it myself neither so that is why I decided to print these decals based on measured dimensions.
