what machinery are you using for the fix? i have spare parts. i put another shaft in, replaced 2nd gear, cleaned all the metal out and its working fine again. I have a theory that the failure wasnt caused by the motor, but was an "internal" failure, if that makes sense. I dont have pictur...

if you want help you need to make a more clear, concise, and constructed post. one long run on sentence is hard to decipher.

check the dome light fuse for the clock, and the radio #1 and #2 fuse. also quit splicing wires when you dont know what youre doing. that only makes the issues 100x worse.

for a dlx with a worn out engine, this is a 2k tops car. glws.

I also like to replace the inner input shaft seal as they are usually hard as a rock. This requires separating the bell housing, which in of itself isnt hard, but youll need to either scrape and rtv the two halfs back together, or buy a replacement gasket (which i do make!)

do you know what a converter looks like? it right after the downpipe. pipe diameter is either 1 7/8 or 1 15/16. just take calipers to it and check.

yes, all generations of usdm tercels left the factory with catalytic converters.
