all of our searches elsewhere have been unsuccessful.. any ideas?

other option i may be left with is selling this one as a parts car itself.. :/

if i end up having to let the shop do it while i'm home, i'm definitely talking through all of this stuff with them. i want to make sure it's done right. i wish i could get it to one of you guys!

so i'm the newbie that got stuck in Salt Lake with some trouble regarding my clutch,
turns out, after getting that taken care of and another 200 miles down the road, this shop is telling me my entire transmission is trash.
still a bit baffled, but he's as close to 100% sure as can be ...

could it really be as simple as the trans fluid?
i'm reading the manual on how to check/fill it.

so sorry i haven't gotten back here to update!
i ended up in the parking lot of a shop that was extremely helpful, but as you all diagnosed, the clutch was worn totally.

so i got the clutch replaced and went ahead and had them replace the main seal as well.
everything seemed to be going fine until ...

so i found myself a Tercel!
a little ways down the highway i ran into some trouble with the clutch not engaging the gears.
i've stopped so as to not cause any further harm to the car and am going to have it checked out tomorrow morning.
the engine still turns over and starts fine, but none of the ...

hmm.. might be worth the project. any estimate on what that would cost to be done properly? if i had someone do it or if i did it myself?

i emailed them because that didn't make sense to me, being an SR5.
they said the previous owner "disabled" it..?
how big of a project is it to re-enable? because i'm definitely wanting a 4wd.

hmm, these are good points..
my family lives in central Oklahoma, which would be its first destination for a little while. (approx 650 miles ish)
