Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
I'm so glad to see this thread is still alive! I haven't been on here in a while due to my transmission going out! But I finally found one from a pull a part out of a 93k mile car that hadn't been registered since '93! I've already got my old one pulled and got new seals to put in the trans, so I've...

Needing some parts!
In the very near future my wagon is going to be back on the road after being down for over a year and I'm going to be potentially needing some parts! All for a tan 1985 SR5! Here is the list and I'll modify as needed! -Tan rear driver's door ash tray -Front driver's door handle trim -Passenger side ...

Re: WTB: transmission front main shaft bearings
I really need to do the ATF flush, I just haven't had the time honestly. I'd be more than willing to bet that it's the main bearings starting to fail. My car has over 300,000 miles on it and for the past 8 years while it's been in my possession, its had regular gear oil changes, but I can't speak ab...

Re: WTB: transmission front main shaft bearings
Ok, thank you guys so much! I haven't had a chance to really work on my car yet because it's my daily. But tomorrow I'm borrowing my uncles car for work so I should be able to pull the trans to start tearing it apart! If it was the bearing would I hear a bad bearing noise like a whirring sound when ...

WTB: transmission front main shaft bearings
My first gear started popping out a few months ago and has gotten worse and worse, I can't even used first gear anymore. So does anyone have a good pair of these bearings? I'm assuming it's only 2 of them...

Re: Variable Speed Intermittent Wiper Control
I thought the professor was getting all of that stuff? If I got it do you think the cruise control could be adapted to work with a mt? I have the a/c bracket I think...

Re: Anyone ever owned or operated a Subaru Justy?
I've got to swap trannys in the Subby soon because a not so smart previous owner put the wrong trans in and now it doesn't shift right, it's an auto btw, but you can't blame someone elses mistake on the manufacturer. not sure you can get the "wrong trans" in a car it was not ment for, wha...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
@splatterdog- I'm thinking maybe the shoe lining were too thick, because I couldn't even get the old wore down drums over the new shoes. I never seen anything that was stuck or mis adjusted. I'm honestly not sure, just one of those terc oddities I guess haha. They work better than they ever have in ...

Re: Anyone ever owned or operated a Subaru Justy?
I've never messed with Subarus until last Tuesday when I traded my million-pieces-Mustang for a running and driving 97 Legacy. But just from owning a Subaru for about a week now, I have fallen in love it honestly! It seems like it'll be pretty easy to work on, even if I have to do replace the head g...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
Long time, no post, but I actually did some things to the ole wagon today! I put in led turn signal bulbs in the rear and they look amazingggg! Also my rear wheel cylinder blew and I lost my brakes the other day and today I got around to installing new drums, wheel cylinders and shoes. I ran into a ...
