Are people really having that hard of a time finding transmissions??

When you say stuck in 2nd gear, meaning you can't get it to neutral when powered down...and thus not flat towable?

Thinking...maybe a road trip in the ...

The satellite radio stuff will probably not go with it. I also forgot to mention that I have the original dash radio for it and a spare transmission. I'm inclined to keep the radio that's in the dash now, but if it makes or breaks the deal for you, it's yours ...

$250 for the whole shebang. It's got a little rust here and there, a decent set of studded snow tires on it, a brand new OEM radiator, a Weber conversion, and an air conditioner that works quite well. Right around 200K on the clock. I'm in a little town south of Provo, Utah.

Somehow the Tercel in the Pick & Pull junkyard in SLC had a good driver's side handle. I'm all fixed up now.

I stopped by today, so a quick update for those still looking at this one—

The engine/front suspension/front clip are lying on the ground in front of the car. The transmission is gone (was an automatic) as is the carburetor. It rained here today and some yesterday, so I'd guess the intake/head is ...

Oh wow you're local! We were actually pondering driving up to SLC in the next few weeks to snag the transmission if it is good.

I don't presently have a door handle but try car-part.com

I broke my driver's door handle today, and a search led to this site (nice digs, by the way....very helpful).

Anybody have an exterior assembly for sale? I'm happy to pay...it's kind of inconvenient for a 6'2" dude to get in through the passenger side.
