When I owned mine, I bought it for $500 (I know, but I needed a car FAST!!) After that I stole the tires off my wife's Neon to put on it. $20 for the rims. Slapped on an old set of hubcaps I had lying around. Did two oil changes on it, stuffed several hundred gallons of gas through it, and two years...

How to remove the mayonnaise when you blow a head gasket...

It's a pain to get rid of because changing the oil doesn't do it. The crap is EVERYWHERE inside your engine. You could change your oil a hundre...

Check your oil again. If you had the chocolate milkshake in there and all you did was change the oil and filter, your new oil has been contaminated to the point of uselessness. Which could have been the cause of the knocking. What I always do when I get the deadly mayonnaise is to drain the oil pan,...

Some fine fabricating and welding there, Mike. That was my major concern with the car. I'm pretty sure you get both sides up to the par you've got that one at and you'll have no issues with the car from here on out. I was originally considering doing pretty much the same thing to the car, but I lost...

Another option (not recommended, but it is an option) is to pull the starter and see if you can jam a prybar into a balancing hole in the flywheel. Another one I've heard about but never seen done is to somehow bind the two ong sides of the timing chain together. Something I'd try is if you have a s...

... and Mother Nature decides to play an April Fool's joke on us.

That was at 9:00AM, about an hour after it started. It's now 1:30 and it's been coming down heavy since.
We've got about 4 inches on everything now.

Check for spark by holding a plug wire near a ground with heavy gloves on or using insulated pliers. Put a new cap and rotor in it. New wires in the right order. New plugs. Then I'd flush the oil and change it and the filter. Do a general tuneup. Take a look at the float level in the sight glass. A...
