hey guys since i am not able to get a tercel i thought i would pass this one along i came upon it on CL tonight its in my home town of Corvallis.

i ended up not going to look at hers and called her to let her know i passed. I went to look at a 85 sr5 with 200k and a new engine and transmission but the wife vetoed me lol. did they ever have chest belts in any years of the tercels this one only had lap belts and thats one reason she vetoed me ...

I am driving up tomorrow morning 6 hour drive from Corvallis Oregon to take a look at this one. Not a big fan of the burgundy though lol. I may also look at the white one in capitol hill since they are pretty close together. wish me luck!

Yet another awesomely priced low km tercel in Canada heh wish they where that cheap near me. good score though for a local buyer sounds like it may need a little transmission work but those can be fixed or replaced good luck with sale i hope yeah get it.

Thats cheap! even the parts off it would be worth more than the 190. to bad its not close here i would buy it from him in a heart beat . good score though.

hmmm. about how long does that take? can it be done in the same day or do they need the car? there are some decent looking ones in Canada and ive been thinking of it since i cannot find any near me.

I was thinking of taking them and having the studs taken off so i can use them year round. will that size tires still hurt my mpg that much when i get a tercel? if so i don't think i will use them.

FYI. you should fix your CL link it take the person who clicks it to the edit or delete your add part so if a person had mal intentions they could edit or delete your add.

I just realized that he mentioned driving it down from BC. I am hoping that it was a BC car then so it would be KMs and not miles on it. Huge Difference if that's the case i may have just gotten the green light from the wife to go and look at it thank you for pointing that out to me!!!!.

yeah just waiting to hear back from him to see if the first buyer comes back. the 290k miles sort of worries me though ;/. i know i am going to have to put some cash into it if i buy this one. anyone know about how much a engine rebuild cost or a new crate engine?

He hasn't heard back from the guy and he gave him til tonight to come and get it and pay for it. he said he would call me when he finds out otherwise im next on the list. i dunno i am a bit nervous that many miles on it and needs engine work do you guys think it would be worth it?
