I appreciate the feedback. Tires are 185/70 R14. I don't think I can do it for $500. If someone else can, this is the car for them. I'm not really in a position to spend the time to rebuild at this time.

It definitely needs an overbore due to a nick from the piston, otherwise things weren't too ...

Engine developed a tick that just wouldn't go away. So I pulled it and found #3 piston with missing skirt and oil ring. Rest of the car was/is in good working condition.

I love my wagon, but I also have always wanted a 4x4 van too. If anyone knows of a 4x4 manual transmission van for sale, I'm interested.

I'm in Seattle, but would travel for a good van.

Well Synth did have one. I picked it up lastnight and promptly cracked it on the other end torquing it down.

So looks like I'm on the hunt for another. I'm planning to get up early and head north to the junkyards when they open.

I sent some messages back and forth with Synth. He luckily thinks he has one at his house in Shoreline.

If not I'll be hitting up the yard in Lake Stevens and maybe Arlington if need be.

Mine cracked the rear runner in half. Oops. This does explain my rough running though.

Anyone in or around Seattle have one lying around?

Ford Escort. They are pretty scratched up but a friend has the same wheels on his Festiva and sanded them down and used some Rustoleum wheel paint and his look pretty awesome.

Sorry rer233, I gave it to the yard for the core. I didn't have room for the fender, hood and bumper. Next time I'll hang on to it and offer it up since the core is almost nothing.

Awesome, I might take you up on that. This light seems somewhat unique so I'll take some pictures of the other good side before having you send anything. That probably would be this weekend, after I get the salvage parts and I have things on the car apart again.
