I am doing a repower on an '86 CA tercel 4WD and would like to find a new or factory rebuilt carb, anyone know of a source? Are there any online places selling discounted factory parts in general? Local shop wanted $500 to rebuild carb.

Thanks, I couldn't resist as it had low miles and pretty clean body. was $1K, I found another '83 for $400 that actually ran smoother but was too moldy and surface rusted. I drive a 2wd E350 van mostly so I was looking for the lightest 4wd I could find (for Sierra snow, variety and mpg). Considered ...

Greetings, I have recently purchased a 4wd Tercel, finding this forum steered me in that direction. It's an '86 SR5 w/ 106K(miles) has been repainted. Needs some mech. smoothing out.
