ANy source for carburetor ? new carb available?

I am doing a repower on an '86 CA tercel 4WD and would like to find a new or factory rebuilt carb, anyone know of a source? Are there any online places selling discounted factory parts in general? Local shop wanted $500 to rebuild carb.

I wonder if there is a trailer hitch made for these cars, just want to tow a very small boat trailer. Also I'd like a front towbar to use the terc as a dinghy. Ever see hitches front or rear?

Hello, does anyone here drive theirs to high altitude? Does the fuel mix hang in there? DO you need to mess with carb jetting?

Thanks, I couldn't resist as it had low miles and pretty clean body. was $1K, I found another '83 for $400 that actually ran smoother but was too moldy and surface rusted. I drive a 2wd E350 van mostly so I was looking for the lightest 4wd I could find (for Sierra snow, variety and mpg). Considered ...

Greetings, I have recently purchased a 4wd Tercel, finding this forum steered me in that direction. It's an '86 SR5 w/ 106K(miles) has been repainted. Needs some mech. smoothing out. Was a Brit's car, thus the personalized tag. I am now worried about high altitude/cold weather performance (w/carb ...
