so If I was going to switch my system from r12 to r134 all i have to do is release the old gas from the system and then put new fittings on and fill it up with r134? is that right? that seems pretty simple to me is there anything else that is absolutely necessary? Thanks!

There is a green plug in sensor located just to the right of where the top radiator hose connects to the engine. The wire that attaches to it broke off but it doesn't seem to have affected anything. Anyone know what that thing is and if I should fix it? Thanks!
