Will these fit a t4 without rubbing?
Would the tires need to be little rubber bands?

not sure if they would fit without rubbing but you should also check the center bore diameter. if it's too big, it's a good idea to get custom centering rings made, and if it's too small, it's probably not worth the effort to overbore them unless you really really really like the wheels.

That might be tough. I have 15x6 Miata wheels and even then it's a tight fit.

Yeah honestly run 195/50/15 tires and any smaller would make the ride excruciating.

really low profile tires grip, stop and handle better on dry pavement. the problem is they are dangerous on wet or snowy roads, and you will almost certainly damage the tire sidewalls striking rocks and ruts when driving on gravel roads.
really low profilter tires are also really costly. I am very happy with my 14 x 6 wheels with 185/65 tires, I have also ran 195/60, both give correct speedo readings. I drive gravel roads every day, so really low profile tires are not really an option for me. Not sure why anyone would want tires like that unless you live somewhere that it hardly every rains or snows, and you do not take your Tercel on gravel roads.
