Hah, changed the oil and filter too. There was a good amount of sludge at the last that came out slowly from the oil pan. Hmmm. Not good.
OH well, it runs better now.
Tune Up, etc
Well I changed the distributor cap, rotor, wires and spark plugs on Tuesday. The car seems to be running a little smoother. Whoever changed the distributor cap last time didn't bother to put the 3rd screw on so water and moisture managed to get inside and rust the contacts andt he rotor. Now keep in mind I still got 32MPG on the last trip I took in the car with the distr cap, rotor, wires etc being in the condition that they were. I am hoping that I will see even better mileage next time I go somewhere on a trip. 34 or 35 mpg seems reachable now. Who knows.
