4a engines in duncan, bc?

this person has 3 corollas, 87-89, for sale. sounds like two have good engines. it looks like they should have 4ac engines but i'm not positive. if anyone around here is looking to swap in a 4a, might be worth investigating.

the seller is also getting rid of a 1979 datsun 280ZX. never driven one but i think they look rad.

I think all of the corollas from '87 and later came with the 4af or 4afe engine, these are not an easy swap becuase of the twin cam head. the 4ac came in '83-86 corrola if I am not mistaken. some may have come in the overlap year of '87. Best to check it out however before you commit to buy a parts car.
