Well, 96 degrees out today. I think it vaporlocked. It died, with a gradual, understood, "UGH". It surged a little. It just was a slightly jerky, progressive stop. Then it would only run at a fairly rough 600-700RPM idle. How is this different than before? Because it actually idled. After I let it sit in a back-roads neighborhood under a tree for a while (2 hours or so) It fired right up and purred happily to life, without a complaint. Before it would run like crap on its first run after a croak.

Am I right that this was likely vapor-lock? If so, how can I prevent it?
