After a couple minutes I found some ITPs that have a 1000 lb load rating, which is the same as stock tires.

you gonna need more power before you can use wheels like that. It would be fun to see tires like that on a tercel, post pics if you get them mounted. what are they going to cost you.

That'd be pretty sweet! The only all terrain tire that fits a semi stock tercel are the 195/75/14 BFG KO's. That's what I'll be using pretty soon. Would be sweet to get UTV mud tires in there.

Maxxis makes the "Buckshot Mudder" in correct sizes for the Tercel, but I haven't been able to find a source...

What do you mean by "semi stock"? Just switching to 14" rims? I've been looking for a set of tires like this for my stock tercel. I don't have a lift or anything and would prefer not to get into that. But I wouldn't mind a bit more clearance and some beefier tires, I'm just currently on the stock 13's

I was meaning with a little lift. I run 195/70/14's in the winter and they worked without a lift but would bottom out too easy IMO. The BFG all terrain would be 5% bigger so it's probably a good idea to lift the car at least an inch or two

Go big or go home. I have the same amount if not more than a stock 4x4 pickup. I've pretty much maxxed out the tire size for the tercel, unless you swap to a pickup frame.

you will get about double the hp with a 4age over a 3ac in stock form, which is far better than 62 hp. you can go for the more costly 20-valve and get almost triple the hp, or you can tweak the 4age up to about 400+ hp for big bucks for about seven times the hp. long before than you will be bundling up your gear box and drive train, so if you spend that much money on the engine, you should look into considering a truck 4wd trans and a larger rear axle (which will allow you put an LSD rear end too).

brilliant idea , BUT they don't have 13 ' tires , you don't need power , only for on-road need power , look at old Land-Rover that have lack of power but had excellent 0ff road histories .
