a few small dents but generally the body is in very good shape. some of the interior looks nice but there are tears on the rear seats and the steering wheel looks ugly. i noticed the air conditioning--funny, since it's from alaska.

Funny you should ask...
Two origins:
1. In olden times, a machine could vibrate off its foundations, some of which were called "rockers," hence a machine that has gang agley (as Robert Burns would say*).
2. An old person who would fall off his rocking chair on the porch, hence indicating an O.F. who has gone helpless and confused.

30-35 mpg with an auto? I wish!

I have gotten 30 mpg on an all highway run in the automatic, but I was driving s-l-o-w. Mixed driving I don't think will result in better than 24-26 MPG with careful driving. This car is way overpriced...
