multiple word searches
I am having trouble doing exact word searches. If I want to search for a thread on say, 'transmission flush', it searches it as two separate words: transmission + flush. Is there a way that I can get exact multiple word searches in this way? It gives a description of how to, but shows a vertical line which I have no way of knowing how to make one with my keyboard. Damn, I have just confused myself again~

Re: multiple word searches
This has been a confoosin' feature for me as well.
HOWEVER - I discovered that by typing simply "transmission flush" it will bring up only those posts which have those two words ONLY - no + or - or | is needed - just enclose the words with quotation marks.
I just tried it again and it worked - only 5 posts popped up, compared to 52 with the +/-/| efforts.
To doubly verify, I tried:
radiator+core = 114 posts with one or both words, whether individually or in tandem;
"radiator core" = 3 posts.
Incidentally, the | mark is the upper-case effort of the \ key next to the ] and } key.

T4WD augury?
