Value of my Tercel

I am curious if anyone can give me an idea of what an 83 tercel 4wd in real good shape with 135000 miles on it might be worth ?

A number of issues affect value, including condition. A nice one with relatively low miles like your will sell usually in the $1500 (or a bit more) range in most parts of the county. In Idaho, Washington, and Oregon they will sell for up to $1000 more, depending on the amount of new parts, interior condition, stereo, tires, etc.

There have been a few advertized in the $3000-$4000 range, but I do not think they sold. Unless it is really exceptional (meaning lots of new parts, factory sun roof, alloy wheels with new tires, SR5 model, etc) about $2800 seems to be the upper limit in the Seattle area.

If it has any mechanical problems at all, any rust or body damage, the price drops drastically. Sometimes even with just a few problems they are reduced to only salvage value, about $200 in scrap. So that is your max and min.

Thanks Petros, I was just wondering what to ask for if I decide to sell (probably not going to happen since it gets such good gas mileage, 4wd, 5 speed ect..
