Re: EU FRONT BUMPER
welcome to the list.
where are you? You are not likely to find any in North America, but if you are in Europe or Oz, you might be in luck.

Re: EU FRONT BUMPER
Welcome to the Tercel club.
Nobody here in the United States has a bumper like those in the pictures you linked us to. American Tercels never came with them. In order to find one of these European or Japanese style bumpers, you need to import one from Europe or Japan. None of us know of anybody that has them. Perhaps you can find a junk yard over there that will ship it here to the US. If you do find a source, you need to let us know where you found it, because several of us Americans want one too!

Re: EU FRONT BUMPER
Bulin,
I know which bumpers you are talking about, I would love a set of EU bumpers myself. I have bumper envy for the light and slim looking EU bumpers, the stupid federal requirements gave us the ugly North American bumpers, typical for all cars starting in about 1974. Was not until years later it was found it drove repair costs up and increased injuries to pedestirans they finally change the supid law.
I might be able to get a set shipped through me via a friend that works for an international airline, but it takes someone finding a set for me in Europe or Japan, crating them up for shipping, and delivering them to an airport where my friends airline operates. But no such luck.
I am also considering taking a power saw to an extra set of North American bumpers I have, would look like crap when I am done likely. So I also considered making some fiberglass bumpers to save weight and perhaps update the look, but that would be a lot of work and likely be very costly. So I am stuck with have EU bumper envy from afar.

Re: EU FRONT BUMPER
That a cool ride , this the similar idea I was planning on T4WD as REAR-WD, You have so many wheels to choose from , I pick the 5 Spokes style. I use to own 1983 SR5 Hatchback way back 1995 , I didn't realize there were very few were made as SR5 Hatchback , what year your car made , ( I might have miss it )Bulin wrote:you can see my tercel is on this page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3246578/1 ... ota-tercel
