Not sure what I miss more....

Post by coltarms »

...the Badd Turkle, or loitering around Tercel4wd all day eagerly awaiting another or Typrus' rants.

Ah, who am I kidding.....

I miss those rants.

But seriously, I miss the Terc. I've been riding around all summer in the Jeep, or on the KLR. But I still miss the Terc.

And the rants....

not that i think tercels are the lap o luxury, but i'd rather drive a tercel than a jeep.

buddy used to have a 2000 Laredo, he liked the thing at first i think for the novelty. I didn't like its tub o water suspension and horrid handling and its unstable feeling at anything over 90km/h. Engine kinda used alot of gas too, which would be OK if it made lots of power, but it didn't.

gotta say it was pretty heavy duty underneath, its just a shame Chrysler uses the cheapest ball joints and u-joints.

I like my sisters 01 Grand Cherokee 4.6L... Peppy and fun for its size.

But I miss mine too. At least I have the 85 3-speed to keep me semi-pleased.

I still kinda post... lol Well on my way to 3000.

Sold the Terc to cover the cost of a motorcycle for the wife. She ended up getting rid of the bike, too. Bummer.

Hey Typrus, there's a 91 Camry All-Trac for sale here. Needs engine rebuild, but body looks great!

Already sold it looks like.
That could've been cool! Nice 3VZ-FE or 1MZ-FE powerplant... Reliable, tough, and by my experience better fuel economy than the little 4 cylinder... At least in the Gen 3's, which the All-Trac only came in Gen 2 which was equipped with a 3VZ-FE V-6 or a 3SFE 4-cylinder.

My Camry is fun and all sometimes, but with worse fuel economy than my old Terc sometimes I wonder...

Sigh...

So go figure knowing me I go and look at buying a 70 Skylark 350.... Essentially a Buick Chevelle.... lol.. Wish I had the money to keep it going and fueled though... $2500 for running great and minimal rust is awesome.
