Spent some time camping in Oregon and Washington along the coasts and the Olympia mountains.....rain...rain...rain....got to get used to that.
Where 'bouts in oregon did you go camping?
them: so you're telling me your tercel has 1.5 liters...where as my pepsi has two?

me: yes, can you seat 5 people in your pepsi...and does it have 4WD? oh...my bad

SW Oregon along the coast & on up north and then over the range into eastern Oregon some....3 sisters, Bend, and south....didn't get too far into the eastern part to my regret.

Got caught by the start of hunting season....you have the woods to yourself...then all of a sudden it's over populated by people with buck fever.

Was up at a fire tower one day in southern Oregon and could see with 8 power binocs clear down to Mt Shasta and on down to the start of the Sierras...clear day with the wind off the Pacific.
Give a boy a gun-give a biatch a cell phone-and pretty soon you almost got yourself a police state.

That's cool, Bend and Sisters are a couple of my fav places here (I almost moved to bend when I graduated high school) there are some awesome offroad-way away from civilization type roads in christmas valley, just east of bend..and if you are lucky enough to obtain a cave map, there are huge caves all over the place out there to explore. (went on a field trip once a long time ago in middle school..I bet I could find em again though) there is good offroading to test a tercel on out there as well. My main Offroading experience has been around Cresent and Odell lake. Lots of snowmobile/x-country skiing trails that are clear during the summer..and if you drive long enough, you can find some summer snow for some 4WD fun as well.
