I can't wait to get out there (will be leaving soon). This park is out on 3 hours or so of gravel road, should be an interesting drive. I'll try to take some pictures out there. This park has Canada's tallest tree (around 300' tall).

PICTURES !!!...Nick that area reminds me of some of the old-growth forest area I would see when I went Hikeing/Bowhunting in the saddle mountain rang in Astoria Org.It has un-equalled beauty and I miss-it no end . So now we need to convince the Ausie's B) to take some pictures of the beautiful Austrailian countryside to share with us and everyone from all the differant and diverce area's from around-the-world !!! Tercel-Camper's Onward!!!

Gonna see some big trees....enjoy!
Drove a Chevy 1/2 ton van up under what I think is one of the bigger Ponderosa pines in Wyoming one time....it was out in a meadow. I swear it was almost wider at the base than the van was long.
I walked back and stood there looking at the van...it looked a little comical.
Had trouble comprehending the size of that tree.....

Here are some pics from the trip. The roads were brutal. 60miles each way of 6" deep potholes. Vibrated/shook the hell out of my poor tercel. The park was very much worth it though. These pictures don't come anywhere near to doing it justice:

That looks so cool.
I really liked the shot looking straight up through the trees.
Make it rain all the time, and you'd think you were on the West Coast of Tasmania. I slept in one morning and missed the summer.

Takza, I'm actually using that one as my wallpaper right now too.takza wrote: Nice. I'm going to use that last picture for wallpaper...hope it's not copyrighted.....
I can send you a much higher resolution version of it if you want. (And any of the other ones too). Just give me your email address (I don't think I can email you using your forum email account - It won't let me attach files).

Well... the smaller size is OK...leaves some memory for other things.
Spent some time camping in Oregon and Washington along the coasts and the Olympia mountains.....rain...rain...rain....got to get used to that.
Was on Vancouver Island and thru Victoria another time...went up north some to the 1st bigger river on the east coast and the rest of the family went salmon fishing...caught a pretty big one...so we ate salmon in various ways for the next I don't know how long...plus my mother canned some on the trail.
