euro taillights -- need opinions on how to mount

ok guys, ive been debating on how to mount these for months. here is some pics:







i have 2 ideas on how to mount these:

1. go to a junkyard & get stock tercel taillights, & using the base (the black part of the taillight), mount the euros on the base.

2. using bondo & fiberglass mat, build a adapter for the taillight to mount into.

there is many things to consider besides look on mounting these (water leaks, will the wiring reach, ect.) but i want to do it without permanently modding the body, such as cutting or drilling the body.

That'd be a no for the Tacoma lights fitting.

Looks like you've got a bit of custom work to do my friend....

The base is not going to fit those in. To be perfectly honest, it'll likely look pretty funky even if you do a good fiberglass or carbon-fiber forming job.

IMHO- please put your stock tail lights back in and put the tacoma eutotails up on ebay. You dont own a honda.

i decided its too much work for me, im gonna tint & polish my stock lights like i posted in my previous thread.

the reason i posted is because people have been wanting to see these, but like i said, its too much work.

THESE are the Euro tails.




You are aware our tails meet e and E code specifications? Just go look on them. I believe its E8.
