1985 Tercel SR5 4wd with 6 spd..Sale or Trade..Portland,OR

have an 85 tercel wagon wit hteh famous and desired EL 6 spd 4wd tranny ...the exhaust valve in # had been bad, but i had the head redone...put it all together and it runs pretty good (hesitation at bottom end) but its smooth and powerful....BUT it billows GREY smoke when running....mostly only when revved, not hardly any at idle...and it seems to get a little better when it warms up..but if you rev-rev-rev...it will put out smoke...again...not blue really...more grey..darker than white......its wierd..haven o idea what..possibly caddy converter? i will inslude a slightly used, but good condition one to try (it has no air suction tube thought)....maybe old gas... i have put in some newer, but it was still probably about 50/50 with some slightly older gas....... at this point im just done and want to move on with my other projects and get this into the hands of someone that will really appreciate it......comes with a HUGE number of extra parts... i ravaged a few wrecking yards and now there is extras for pretty much every engine compartment/emissions component....as well as a RARE dash clinometer..also known as a BODY TILT meter......O the extra parts.........anyway... im in Portland, OR...the car runs and drives... i dont doubt that it would make a drive to pretty much wherever...but it smokes out the exhaust and has a slight hesitation...(probably just a timing or carb adjustment)....i will consider trades....who knows what... im open...thought i would rather have money... or part cash, part trade....either reply or send e-mails to campsite428@gmail.com
