Awesome pics!! thanks for sharing! What sort of carb is that on your engine? I like the air intake setup you have; good design.

You know what is really cool about your new engine? You have a much much stronger block with the new 4A. That 7-rib block design is the same one they used with the supercharged 4AGZE. It's cool how Toyota used them from 87 on right across the board for all their 4A engines (4age 4agze, 4ac, 4af, 4afe, etc.). Of course, you'll have the smaller sized crank and rods.

Out of curiousity, how many bolts are there connecting the crank of your 4A to it's flywheel? I assume 6-bolt, but was curious if by any chance it is a 8-bolt? If it's eight bolt and fits in the tercel bellhousing, than you have found something special indeed! It could be used for a 4age or 4agze conversion too.

Really? Cool. Reason I was asking, is I'd like to do an intake setup similar to your, but without the snorkle. Right now my weber 32/36 dgev has a filter right on top of the carb that is sucking in hot air from my radiator. So, where did you get the aluminum piece that bolts on top of your weber? I'd like to buy one, and run a pipe from it to a source of cold air, and use a cone filter or something.

Whats the diff between this-99217.090: K&N remote air cleaner adapter
and this-99010.357: Redline remote air cleaner adapter.
??

The K&N is $85, the Redline Weber one is $100...

Could these be used to seat down Turbocharger boost?

I guess it just looks kinda low in that pic because of the big tires. :)
Nice skidplate. 8)
